* Powell Gardens events:

Amazing sights in the night and day sky await you. Don't have a telescope? We'll share ours! Join us for these exciting astronomy programs. After a classroom presentation on the selected topic, you will go outside to view the skies. Members of KCSLUG will assist you in locating the amazing heavenly bodies of discussion. Children are welcome but must be 7 years old and accompanied by an adult.

Fee: $6/adults, $3/youth (ages 7-16). Contact Powell Gardens at 816/697-2600 ext. 225 for reservations. No charge to KC SLUG members who are setting up telescopes / helping to educate people about the night sky.

Paul Money's Observing Events:

Paul Money is now the observing captain, and he will be setting up and coördinating all off-site viewing parties. If you would like for him to notify you when he plans events, please e-mail Janet (816-737-5050) and let her know that you want to be put on Paul's e-mail list.
